He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Carl Smith III (Tanya), Carol Lampshire (Sean), Anna Smith (Dale Hirdler) and Julie Smith; his sisters, Donna Peterson (Jerry) and Rosie Freeman (Bill); and his close friends, Jenny Schnoor and Chaz Norman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
