He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruby Berryman and Harry Berryman; his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Jena Ogston and Jana Faragher; his sons-in-law, Kent Ogston and Bill Faragher; his grandchildren, Kaelin, Evan Ogston, Kitridge and Monarch Faragher; his siblings, Bob, Roger, Dick, Donna Samuelson and Joan Hall (Don); and his sister-in-law Kathleen. He was also cherished by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund at the American Legion in Pine Island, MN 108 1st Ave SE, Pine Island, MN 55963.
