With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Aksvig (Pine Island, Minnesota), born in Byron, Minnesota, who passed away on April 29, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Johnson and Ethel Johnson (Shatt); her husband Jim Askvig; her son Tim; her grandson Josh; and her sister Ruth.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Carlson (Rusty) and Steve Askvig; her grandchildren, Shawna, Ashley and Colt Askvig; and her great great grandchild Evergreen Place. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice, The Salvation Army or to The Ronald McDonald House in memory of Bernice.
