He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Haavisto and Sidora Sizer; his brothers, Roger, Doug and Ron; and his sisters-in-law, Karin Barker (Curt) and Bette Haavisto.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Haavisto of Pine City; his children, Jennifer Haavisto of St. Paul, Sarah Windisch (Tim) of Minneapolis, Anna Roen (Drew) of Virginia and Jacob Haavisto (Megan) of Pine City; his grandchildren, Isabel, Grace, Hayden, Garret, Nora, Griffin, Celia, Alivia, Henry, Adelyn and Sidora; his brother Richard Haavisto of Pine City; and his sisters-in-law, Bev Chaffee, Ilene Haavisto, Deb Haavisto, Lorna Johnson and June Lilie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
