He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Theresa; his brother-in-law Joe Menth; and his niece Stephanie Church. He is survived by: his wife Carol Serafin; his daughter Megan Schwalbach (Matt); his grandson Jack; his siblings, Cathy Zucco (Bill), Joan Menth, Margaret Church (Pete) and Danny; and his fathers-in-law, Jim Mulvihill (Kathy), John Mulvihill (Charlena) and Kevin Mulvihill (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
