It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simon Hanson (Pine City, Minnesota), born in Mora, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arnold, Harriet Hanson, Clifford and Violet Simon. He is survived by: his parents, Priscilla Hanson and Jim Hanson; his stepparents, Jackie Hanson of Pine City and Steve Bishop of Forest Lake; his sisters, Lajla Hanson (Sam Detion) of Grand Forks, ND and Brekka Hanson-Spicer (Jeff Spicer) of Brooklyn Park; his niece Kezia Hanson-Akinropo; his nephew Jaimon Jones; and his close friend Lexi Kangas-Kent. He is also survived by extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, step siblings, and step nieces and nephews.

No lunch will be provided due to COVID restrictions, and mask wearing is appreciated.
