He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Gibson and Myrtle Gibson (Horne); his daughter Sandy; and his close friend Joan Hahn. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Gibson of Pine City, MN, Russell, Jr., Larry and Darren Gibson; his brothers, Virgil Gibson (Marcia) of Berea, KY and Jerry Gibson (Geneva) of Roanoke, VA; and his brother-in-law Dan Bills of Hibbing. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
