He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Erickson and Elsie Erickson (Rodbom); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Mae Sobiek-Erickson; his siblings, Lawrence Erickson (Wanda), Wayne Erickson, Leslie Erickson, Corrine Lindemann, Eldora Coyle and Arlene Blackford; his niece Mary Coyle; and his nephew James Lindemann.
He is survived by: his friends, Jerry Nelson, Alan Vaughn and Therman Hanson; his stepchildren, Beth Hein of Rush City, Dan Sobieck of Oakdale and David Sobieck (Ritsuko) of Japan; his grandchildren, Brittney Schwinn (Jeremy) of Fargo, ND, Brooke Hein of Oakdale, Blake Hein of Rush City, Brent Hein of Fargo, ND, Tiffany Sobieck of Japan and Adam Sobieck of Oakdale; his siblings, Robert Erickson (Janice) of Deerwood and Delores Erickson of Aitkin; and his sister-in-law Barbara Erickson of St. Louis Park. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
