She is survived by: her mother Jewell Schmidt; her husband Dennis; her children, Troy Schmidt (Katie), Sara Long (Allen), Dennis Root (Michelle) and Robert Root (Martine); her grandchildren, Claire, Quinn, Rosalyn, Joseph, Megan, Samantha, Matthew and Kevin; and her siblings, Penny Lindahl (Keith), Al Schmidt Jr. and Chuck Schmidt (Wendy).
