It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Boyd Kosik of Pine City, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kosik and Elizabeth Kosik (Ausmus); his former wife Patricia Kosik; his stepchildren, Donald and Darlene; and his siblings, Patricia and Thomas Kosik.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marjorie Thieman (Ellen) of Shakopee and Al Thieman (Tina) of Pine City; his stepdaughter-in-law Mary Ann Fleeger of Pine City; his grandchildren, Matthew Fleeger of Pine City, Susie Gilliland of New Castel, IN, Michael Gilliland of Eden Prairie, Jedidiah Derhaag (Crystal) of Evansville, IN, Chris Wyttenback of Blaine, Randy Thieman (Amanda) of Upland, CA, Drew Thieman (Britini) of Pine City and Chaz Thieman of Pine City; his great grandchildren, Adrian, Austyn Thieman of Pine City, Shaelyn, Paisley Thieman of Upland, CA, Athena, Kira, Jozette of Pine City, James Fleeger of Webster, WI and Madilyn Derhaag of Evansville, IN; and his brothers, Jerry Kosik (Carole) of Richfield, Don Kosik (Marylee) of Elizabeth and Frank Kosik (Betty) of St. Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
