Paul Rootkie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Rootkie (Pine City, Minnesota), who passed away on April 18, 2018, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Rootkie; his parents, Steve Rootkie and Mary Rootkie; his grandson Christopher Rootkie; and his great grandchild Derek Rootkie.
He is survived by: his children, Cary Rootkie (Janet) of Pine City and Gail Hanson (Charles) of Danbury; his grandchildren, Bridget Ausmus, Brenda Dahl (Duwayne), Paul Rootkie, Todd Hanson (Kate Pauly), Melanie Wallwork, Patrick Rootkie (Alexandria Hart) and Matthew Rootkie (Tami); his sister Elaine Valvoda of Pine City; and his sister-in-law Violet Rootkie of Minneapolis. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
