He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Magaard and Marie Magaard (Dreixler); his brothers, Robert Magaard and Bill Magaard; and his grandson Gunnar.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Magaard of Pine City; and his children, Bonnie Abbott (Kevin) of Pine City, Danea Nilsson (Joseph) of Pine City and Gary Magaard (Vickie) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (410 Main St S, Pine City, MN 55063). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
