She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Held and Ethel Held (McGregor); her husband Robert Thorson; her granddaughter Rosie Sloan; and her sister Margaret Haidvogal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brittania Sorgdrager (Rick) of Pine City and Mary Thorson (Mark Fairchild) of Coleraine; her grandchildren, Ray Sorgdrager (Felcia), Robin Hinsley (Jack), Ruth Thompson (Phil), Sushila Anderson (Mitch) and Trinayani Freeberg (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Mercy, Eleanor, Amber, Nicholas, Sara, Dennis, Wyatt, Oliver and Gabriel. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
