She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Wanous and Albert L. Wanous; and her son James Timothy Bender. She is survived by: her children, Averal Tebbe (David) of Parker and Otto Bender (Lynn) of River Falls, WI.; and her grandchildren, Cinnamon McConachy (Matt), Brandon Tebbe of Colorado, Brittani Williams (Horace) and Cameron Bender of Minnesota. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins.
