He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peil and Ruth Peil (Reppert); his wife Delores Peil; his sons, Randy Peil and Doug Peil; his son-in-law Carl Nowling; his great grandchild Chaz Peil; his brother-in-law Alvis Ovik; and his friend Lois Youngbauer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Doreen Nowling Grave (Jack) of Pine City, Roxane Stone (Kevin Stone) of St. Paul and Rhonda Meza (Gonzalo) of Oakdale; and his siblings, Larry Peil of Pine City, Lois O'Neil, Gene Peil of Danbury, Shirley Kirchberg of Rock Creek and Milo Behrendt (Linda). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
