He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Hawkinson and Anna Hawkinson (Carlson); his son Richard Hawkinson; and his sister Maxine Smetana (John). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hawkinson of Pine City; his children, Cory Hawkinson of New Brighton and Barbara Tritch of New Brighton; and his daughter-in-law Evelyn Hawkinson of Pine City. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
