He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Otterstetter and Minnie Jane Otterstetter (Evenson); and his daughter Catherine Lahtinen. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Otterstetter (Haberman); his stepchildren, Cliff Watrin (Kelly Ponto), Annamaria Watrin (Ketema), Elizabeth Klar (Duane) and Michele Shepard (Lansing); his grandchildren, Noah Lahtinen, Matthew Klar (Jessica), Katie Hagen (Patrick), Mahlet, Yodit, Pomi Aschenaki, Hanna Ketema and Cyrus Watrin; and his great grandchildren, Peter and Oliver Hagen.
