He is survived by: his children, Darla, Joseph Penn (Jessica) of Duluth, Claire Parks (Jeff Hedin) of St. Cloud and Gerald Jr. Parks (Mariah Phillips) of Pine City; his grandchildren, Tyler St. Clair, Jack Penn, Noble Ojaniemi, Justin Shegstad, Emily Hedin and Nico Parks; and his siblings, Kelly Dorr, Karla Nelson, Larry Parks and Richard Parks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
