He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hoefler and Olive Hoefler of Pine City, MN; his daughters, Lori Hoefler Manthei and Tammy Nelson; and his brothers, Gary Hoefler, Brew and Crude.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Hoefler of Pine City, MN; his daughter Roxanne Johnson (Greg) of Indian Wells, CA; his grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Dorothy) of La Quinta, CA, Kim Hallberg (Nick) of Grantsburg, WI and Katie Nelson of St. Louis Park, MN; his sister Gaye Erickson (Cully) of Phillips, WI; his sister-in-law Eleanor Hoefler of Lindstrom, MN; his son-in-law Gary Nelson of Grantsburg, WI; and his great grandchildren, Lauren Hallberg and Grant Hallberg of Grantsburg, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
