He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis "Gus" and Ethel "Isabel" Cobb, Jr. (Massie). He is survived by: his sister Barbara St (Dan); his nephew Jeffrey St (Emily); his niece Laura Markewicz (Matt) of Menomonie Falls, Wisconsin; and his great-nephew Mason Markewicz.
