He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Walter Rydberg and Bertha Emma Rydberg Piel (Heinlein); his wife Jeannie Marie Olson; his siblings, Betty Walberg (Allen), Ruby Kozisek (John) and Paul Rydberg (Peg); his sister-in-law Nomie Wallin (Ken); his niece Beth Gross; and his nephews, Dan Rydberg, Sr. and John Kozisek, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Rydberg (Jacqueline), Lauren Evans (Hugh) and Julie Schumacher (Ed); his stepbrother Bob Blazek; his grandchildren, Derek Rydberg (Jennifer), Leah Ames (Andrew), Michael Rydberg (Sarah), Ashley Evans, Conor Evans, Erin Schumacher (Christina) and Neal Schumacher (Kevynn); and his great grandchildren, Melinda, Hailee, Evelyn, Henry, Leonard, Meryl, Eleanor, Tilda, Bernard, Maverick, Sutton, Colt, Ernest and Luella.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Swanson Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service (665 3rd Ave SW, Pine City, MN 55063). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
