It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara (Ripka) Glienke of Pine City, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Glienke (Mike); her parents, Robert Ripka and Margaret Ripka (Kubat); her sisters, Ramona Peterson and Ginger Dickerson; her siblings-in-law, Virgil Peterson, Lynn Smith, Kert Grundberg and Diana Ripka; and her son Dennis Glienke.
She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Ripka (Barbara), John Ripka (Lois), Joe Ripka (Cathy) and James Ripka (Jeanine Presler); her brother-in-law Jim Dickerson; her sisters, Patricia Williams (Don), Marie Grundberg and Mary Smith; and her children, Duane Glienke, Diane Frederiksen (George), Donna Laursen (Tom), Darlene Koski (Mike), David Glienke (Susan Freymiller), Doug Glienke (Beth) and Debbie Murphy (Thane). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, etc., donations to local Alzheimer's, Dementia, Mental Health organizations, and the AccentCare Fairview Hospice Program in Chisago City, would be appreciated.
