He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Taylor of Frederic; his parents, William and Albina; his daughter Mary; his granddaughter Jessica Saumer; and his sisters, Mary Alice Stoffel, Delphine Johnson and Lucille Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Dan (Sue), Joe (Lynn), Steve (Laura), Teresa (Tim Clark), Ann (Garland Crider) and Michelle (John Carter); his grandchildren, Kristi Pelto (Jim), Keith Saumer, Cory Clark (Hannah), Pat, Darial Clark, Jaysa, Kelly Saumer, Mike Saumer (Jenessa), Hannah Saumer, Scott Brown, Emily, Molly Crider, Tristan Kick (Florence) and Abigail Carter; and his brothers, Robert and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
