He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Carner and June Carner (Glanville); his wife Debra Hines; his children, Pat Carner (Emily) of Bemidji, Penny Carner, Becky Nash (Patrick), Rae Bennett (Joe), Bobbie Spencer (Ryan) and Pamela Madison (Lawrence) of St. Cloud; his siblings, Ron Carner (Peggy) of Brainerd, Dale Carner (Diana) of Brainerd, Rick Carner (Lillie) of Brainerd, Loren Carner of Brainerd, Judy Maske of Brainerd, Anita Chamberlain of Crosby and Virginia Borg of Ironton; his siblings-in-law, Roger Britton and Margy Carner of Brainerd; his close friends, Tyrone Spencer (Pete) of Brainerd, Kevin, Lila Lockwood of Pequot Lakes and Naida Kargel of Pine River; his siblings, Virgil and Lorna Britton; his son Todd; his grandson Evan Spencer; and his father-in-law Herman Hines Sr.. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
