With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Anderson of Pillager, Minnesota, born in Lakefield, Minnesota, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Ahrens and Elsie Ahrens; her husband Roland Anderson; and her brother Douglas Ahrens. She is survived by: her children, Angela Newfield (Mark), Scott Anderson, Mark Anderson (Lynnel), Jon Anderson (Linda) and Jane Peterson (Eric); her grandchildren, Katrina Wood (Harris), Derek Anderson (Chelsea), Hannah Anderson (Justin Gangl), Sara Karppinen (Dustin), Traci Anderson (Nick Kist), TJ Anderson, Gregory Peterson and Elyse Peterson; her siblings, Joan Wood (Ken) and Conway Ahrens; and her close friend Carly. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Memorials in memory of Marie are preferred to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter.
