It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Bitzer in Pillager, Minnesota, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Forbes and Esther Forbes (Foss); her husband Fred Bitzer; and her siblings, Robert and Shirley.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Roger; and her children, Sandra Stearns (Roger), Linda Johnson (Jim), James (Charity), Jerry (Sharon) and Dennis (Deb). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Maplewood Academy in Hutchinson, of which Blanche had a passion for youth education.
