It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. Tretter of Pierz, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hayes and Josephine Hayes (Orskowski); her husband Marvin Tretter; her son-in-law Rick Zajac; her siblings, Eleanor Tretter, Sharon Hayes and Lyle Hayes; and her siblings-in-law, Elmer Tretter and Cindy Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Zajac of Hillman, Russell Tretter of Garrison, Barbara Tretter of Pierz and Corey Tretter (Sandy) of Pierz; her grandchildren, Adam Zajac, Aaron Zajac, Terri Tretter and AJ Tretter; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Zajac, Blake Zajac, Ethan Zajac and Grace Zajac; and her siblings, Marcel Hayes (Jean) of Pierz, Gerald Hayes of Pierz, Rhynard "Butch" Hayes (Esther) of North Pole, AK and Karen Foss (Robert) of Pierz.
