Elaine Grittner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 92, Elaine Grittner of Pierz, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Grittner to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Block (Angeline) and Angeline Block (Merkling); her children, Charlene Johnson (Mike) of Columbia, SC, Dan Grittner (Pam) of Pierz, Jim Grittner (Ginger) of Pierz, Cindy Epsky (Gene) of Royalton, Pat Baker (Ed) of Blaine, Donald Grittner (Linda) of Hillman, Mary Kapsner (Mark) of St. Cloud and Frank Grittner (Wendy) of Elk River; her sister Verena Otremba of Pierz; her sisters-in-law, Leah Block and Lorraine Pohlkamp; her husband Edward Grittner; her brothers, Rolland and Don Block; and her grandson William Johnson. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family request those attending the service to please wear a mask and respect the social distancing guidelines from the MDH.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Holy Trinity Catholic Schools in Pierz.
