She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dropps and Elizabeth Dropps (Mangel); her husbands, Irvin Kuschel and Erland Emerson; her daughter Diane Matvick; her son-in-law Joe Gottwalt; her great grandchild Cory Matvick; and her siblings, DuWayne Dropps and Donna Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Gottwalt of Pierz, Betty Jean Wyatt (Harold) of Pierz and David Kuschel (Birdie) of Royalton; her son-in-law Roman Matvick of Oak Park; and her brother William Dropps, Jr. of Montana. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
