It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Joyce Rocheleau of Pierz, Minnesota, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milfred Nygard and Madeline Nygard (Oderman); her husband Alcid "Russ" Rocheleau, Jr.; her brother Rodger Voigt; her brother-in-law Pete Baumgartner; and her parents-in-law, Barbara and Alcid Rocheleau.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Fuhrman (Mark) of Pierz, MN, David Rocheleau (Jessica) of Pierz, MN and Dan Rocheleau (Kim) of Pierz, MN; her sister Dee Baumgartner of Bismarck, ND; her sister-in-law Becky Shapiro of Fairbanks, AK; her grandchildren, Shelby Erdrich (Nick), Kyle Fuhrman, Michaela Pollock (Colton), Joshua Rocheleau (Sam Blonigen), Cassidy Rocheleau, Nick Herold, Delilah Rocheleau, Preston Rocheleau (Kalli Poster), Amaya Rocheleau and Alana Rocheleau; and her great grandchildren, Mavryk Erdrich, Brantley Erdrich, Hudson Erdrich, Myles Rocheleau and Tucker Rocheleau. She is also survived by two nephews, a niece and many friends.
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service-Pierz (228 Main St N, Pierz, MN 56364). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (29482 243rd St, Pierz, MN 56364).
