He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick E. Parpart and Frances Parpart (Zimmerman); his daughter Lu Ann Duffy; his grandson Nathan Duffy; and his siblings, Dorothy Nowlan, Bernice Woodard, John, Rudy, Richard and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Severson; his son Scott Parpart; his son-in-law Greg Duffy; his grandchildren, Brad Duffy, Tyler Parpart and Tiana Gerdes; his great grandchildren, Taylor Schumacher, Ryder Gerdes and Finley Gerdes; his sister Lillian Hinckley (Neil); and his sister-in-law Della Becker (Raymond).
