It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Knutson of Peterson, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bent C. Benson and Cora Benson (Evenson); and her spouse Emer Knutson. She is survived by: her children, Karrol "Sam" Benson (Mercedes) of Houston, MN, Catherine Haug (Wayne) of Lanesboro, MN, Renae Novak (Dennis) of Sheboygan, WI and Pam Johnson (Richard) of Peterson; and her grandchildren, Randy Benson (Kim), Michael Benson (Karen), Mary Kaye Bunke (Vern), Paula Haug, Jonathan Haug, Jason Haug, Crystal Vrieze (Jeremy), Ashley Johnson (Kate), Melissa McCabe (Travis), Zachary Johnson (Serena) and Courtney Williams (Jordan). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
