She was predeceased by: her parents, Gert Filkowski and Frank Filkowski; her brother-in-law Jerry Mehlhorn; and her pet Sadie Jane.

Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions a celebration of Rusti's life will take place later this summer in both MN and WI.
