He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert and Dorothy. He is survived by: his parents, Frank Hanus and Helen Hanus (Feller); his spouse Joan Schomer; his children, Michael Hanus, Thomas Hanus, Kathleen "Missy" Vorac (William), Kenneth Hanus, Gary Hanus and William Hanus; and his pet Patch. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
