He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramey Tougas and Amy Tougas (Branum); his brother Arvid Tougas; and his foster daughter Deanna. He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Carlson; his wife Bev Tougas of Perham; his children, Michael Tougas (Chantal) of Perham and Anita Gust (Steve) of Crookston, MN; his grandchildren, Trenton Lizakowski, Jaeden Lizakowski and Tommy Gust; his siblings, Tim Tougas (Katie), Bea Gunderson and Barb Smith; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Tretsven. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
