He is survived by: his wife Jean Warner; his brother New Holland; his children, Ginny Kimball (Milton), Greg Schmitz (Pam), Mike Schmitz (Diane), Tom Schmitz (Nancy), Joe Schmitz (Lori), Dan Schmitz (Carol) and Peggy Johnson (Randy); and his brother Tom Schmitz.
