He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Meier and Eliza Meier (Ramsay); his siblings, Norman (Dorothea), Alvin and Dorothy Brown (Robert); his sister-in-law Marge Meier; and his son-in-law Philip Penn.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Wiebe; his daughters, Judy Penn of Camano Island and Karen Steinhaus (Terry) of Detroit Lakes; his grandsons, Nick Steinhaus (Jodi Lovgren) of Sparta and Chris Steinhaus (Shannon Williamson) of Detroit Lakes; his great grandchildren, Amber and Jason Steinhaus; his brother Clarence of Bloomington; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Meier and Lois Wiebe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
