He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Alexander and Martha Alexander (Goyke); his brother Roger (Sherry) of Rapid City, SD; his half-brother William Goyke; and his sister Marilyn Bachmann.

He is survived by: his siblings, Edward (Bea Arguello) of Rapid City, SD, Lloyd (Renee) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Mark of Hawaii and Rita Tykwinski (John) of Little Falls, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
