She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Sve and Annette Sve; her husband Alfred Helland; her siblings, Edna Edinger and John Sve; and her granddaughter Christa Helland.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Carla Helland (David Hagstrand), Colette Jackson (Mark), Charles Helland (Monica), Cindell Haugen (David), Nissa Kvidt (Brandon) and Britta Jelinek (Jay); her great grandchildren, Isaac, Lucas Jackson, Otis Helland, Liam, Emma Kvidt and Elsie Hagstrand; and her sister-in-law Lulu Sve.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Park River Bible Camp, Park River, ND.
