He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arvid Salmela and Vivian Salmela (Herbst); his brothers, Bill, Jim and Don (Betty); his children, Craig Salmela (Geri), Michelle Steinbach (Brent) and Robyn Pettow (Andy); his stepchildren, Mark Scott, Stacy Scott, Todd Scott and Brian Scott; and his siblings, Maitland Salmela and Genevieve Tomscak. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews; other extended family and friends.
