With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Parta of Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Parta and June Parta (Pastoret); his wife Janet Parta; his children, Jennifer, Chris (Tiffany) and Abby; his brother Gene Parta (Lynne); his sister-in-law Pankaj Parta; his stepmother Bernice Parta; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Askew, Teresa Askew (Ann), Susie Pearsall (Dennis) and Steve Askew (Carol). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials can be sent to the Footprints Foundation for scholarships for New York Mills students, the Minnesota Newspaper Foundation, St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to any cause that would help anyone in need.
