She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schwartz and Irene Schwartz (Salm); her parents-in-law, Ethel Leitner and Severin Leitner; her sister Bernice Olm; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Mathews, Mel Lundie, Marv Leitner, Patricia Leitner and Diane Leitner.

She is survived by: her husband Robert of Perham, MN; her children, Lisa Hemmelgarn (James) of Richville, MN, Mark (Sue) of Hastings, MN, Linda Mahoney (Brian) of Reiles Acres, ND and Michael (Nicole) of Dilworth, MN; her siblings, Leander (Helen) of Green Bay, WI and Louise Lundie; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Olm of Green Bay, WI, Ken Leitner (Ginny) of Waupun, WI and Dick Leitner (Joan) of De Pere, WI; her grandchildren, Gina Ice (Tyler) of Fergus Falls, MN, Troy Hemmelgarn (Megan) of Perham, MN, Travis Hemmelgarn (Chelsey) of Perham, MN, Joe Struyk (Kebi) of Minneapolis, MN, Josh Stryuk of Hastings, MN, Brandon Mahoney of Reile's Acres, ND, Taylor Mahoney (Karen) of Dilworth, MN, Zach Mahoney (Ashley) of Grand Forks, MN, Maddie Leitner of Moorhead, MN, Nathan Leitner of Dilworth, MN and Mallory Leitner of Dilworth, MN; and her great grandchildren, Carly, Morgan, Jolie Ice, Peyton, Noah, Lauren Hemmelgarn, Parker, Rylie Hemmelgarn, Zoe and Chloe Struyk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to St. Henry's Area School and to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
