It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Johnston of Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyell Aves and Marie Aves (Hennies); her husband Robert Johnston (Bob); her siblings, LaVerne Aves (Arline), Bob Aves, LaVonne Clagett, Shirley Wohler (Gerald) and Donna Olson (Ray); and her brothers-in-law, Harold Galligan and Ozzie Dahle-Melsaether.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Dilly (Jim), Tommy Johnston (Diann), Bobbi Otis (Carson Byram), Polly Moerke (Allen), Kelly Ellenson (Steven), Sally Fraki (Scott) and Sarah Ebeling (Brian); her grandchildren, Jessica, Luke, Clay, Derek Dilly, Tyler Johnston, Heather Mayfield, Levi Otis, Ashley Reierson, Billy Otis, Emily Schmitt, Ryan Huntley, Marty Ellenson, Katy Ellenson, Mallory Loock, Mitch Ellenson, Megan Jeno, Hannah Fraki, Andrew, Cort and Thomas Ebeling; her siblings, Jeannette Galligan, Linda Dahle-Melsaether, Sue Aves and Rick Aves; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Aves, Deb McCarthur and Roger Clagett. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, along with additional bonus family members.
