He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Jean Halvorson; his siblings, Doyle Miller, Marlys Oblinger, Glenice Hansen and Janice Miller; his siblings-in-law, Maurice Hansen, Bill Walkup, Gene Donley, Larry Birch, Joe Oblinger, Betty Birch and Joyce Miller; and his son-in-law Barry Bucher.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Miller (Ann), Bruce Miller (Brenda), Tammy Bucher, Brenda Bormann (Michael), Lori Schmitz (Joseph) and Scott Miller (Jolene); his sisters, Joanie Walkup and Dolly Dickerson (Bob); his sister-in-law Mary Donley; and his grandchildren, Leah Liedl (Alex), Tony Miller, Crystal Miller, Holly Vanwatermulen (Randy), Heather Olson (Jon), Karissa Bucher, Kellee Bucher, Chad Bormann, Corey Bormann (Nicci), Cody Bormann, Jay Schmitz (Ali) and Lindsay Branby (Steven).
