He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Alma Dornbusch (Roberts) and Johan "Fred" Dornbusch; his wives, Betty Lou Walker and June Johnson; and his siblings, Henry, Vernon, Roy, Doris, Robert, Raymond, Elmer, Donna and Loren.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Dornbusch (Christine) of Audubon, Michael Dornbusch (Heidi) of Perham and Melinda Dornbusch of St. Paul; and his grandchildren, Dalton, Skyler and Abigail. He is also survived by his family and friends.
