He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasia Hauer (Wycinski) and Victor Hauer; his siblings, Ann, Florence, Harold, Vic and Delores; and his grandson Aaron Priebe.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Jason JT (Sara), Emma, Joe, Jim, Kjersti Tagen (Jon), Kaija, Greg Samantha (Angie), Jackson, Tom, Melissa, Brad Jon (Jackie), Jack, Nick, Andy Asher (Melissa), Bella, Charlee, Matt Jake (Lori), Kristian, Elias, Zach, Audrey, Gabriel, Olivia Dominic (Ariel), Adriel, Isaiah, Shawn Benjamin (Kim), Oliver, Tricia (Shawn), Danny Joe (Katrina), Jake, Sammy, Elizabeth, Leah, Anthony, Aksel, Juliana, Cierra and Max; his niece Kay Kloepfer; and also, Sheena and Larry.
In place of flowers, memorials are preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church, Perham Schools, 549 Family Foundation, or charity of choice.
