She was predeceased by: her brothers, Glenn and Bryan. She is survived by: her husband Joe Byer; her children, Greg Byer (Gretchen) and Jolene Phillips (Jay); her grandchildren, Tristan, Rylan Byer, Benjamin and Harrison Phillips; and her siblings, JoAnn Tingelstad (Gary) and Donn Mischke (Joanne).
Masks and social distancing are required during these services.
In lieu of flowers, Karen's family requests donations to the new St. Henry's Area School, the Led by the Light Campaign.
