She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles VanWatermulen and Anne VanWatermulen (Hofland); her brothers, Dennis VanWatermulen, Tony VanWatermulen and Gerald VanWatermulen; and her grandson Carson Breitenfeldt.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Malikowski; her children, Paul Malikowski (Annette), Donna Hendrickson (Warren), Susan Hanson, Steve Malikowski (Staci), Sandra Weis (Kenneth), Gloria Polman (DJ) and Lynn Breitenfeldt (Steve); and her grandchildren, Ashley, Zachary, Greg, Sarah Malikowski, Shane, Ryan, Marcus Hendrickson, Cassaundra, Kari, Matthew Hanson, Mallory, Mason, Alec Malikowski, Maraya, Christian, Travis Weis, Casie, Cydnie Polman, Carly and Connor Breitenfeldt. She is also survived by her 17 great-grandchildren; her nine siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
