Joyce left this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bunkowske and Alvina Bunkowske (Buehler); and her sister Donna Ramberg. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Brasel; her sons, Dan Brasel of Perham and Joel Brasel (Mariela) of Elk City, OK; her granddaughters, Crystal, Ximena, Gina and Alexa; her brother Jerry Bunkowske (Jolene) of Sioux Falls, SD; her brother-in-law Keith Ramberg of Mentor, MN; and her close friend Cody Sazama.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Corliss Township (49658 Co Hwy 53, Perham, MN 56573). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. John's Lutheran South (50470 County Road 8, Perham, MN 56573).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Roger Maris Cancer Center.
