He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrik M. Pedersen and Eva C. Pedersen; his brother Amund; his son-in-law Gaylen Schmuhl; and his grandson Ruben.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jennie Shiflet; his children, Lars Pedersen, Warren Pedersen (Shirley), Andrew Pedersen (Felisha), Donna Hanson (Gerald), Sara Schmuhl and Julie Heflin (David); his stepson Larson Shiflet (Taquilla); his siblings, Peder Pedersen (Cherie), Edwin Pedersen (Renae), Arlette Toepper (Gary), Carol Rasmussen (Raymond), Edythe Foley (Brent) and Brenda Lee (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Marcia Pedersen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
